This year it is a time to be noticed! That Me! Me! Me! Faze which stemmed from the 80’s will slowly be creeping back into your child’s wardrobe. What better way to do this than with Pop Art?
Originally an art movement and style that originated in England in the 1950's, Pop Art initially made its way to the United States during the 1960's. Pop artists are known to have focused their attention to familiar images of the popular culture such as billboards, comic strips, magazine advertisements, and supermarket products. It is also defined as “art based on modern popular culture and the mass media, especially as a critical or ironic comment on traditional fine art values”, according to Webster’s dictionary.
You can find pop art as any bold and simple print, on all types of clothing, and basically in every color. What’s not to love about it?
Check out these fun and interesting trends! A little 80s, a little 90s, but totally now...these splats of vibrant hues will add a little bit of funky to any attire!
