Who would have guessed it? The hottest inspiration out right now in the children’s fashion industry is space! Children’s wear designers from across the world are taking hints the intergalactic world and creating out of this world designs!
One of the brands to follow this inspirational trend is the Italian brand Il Gufo, who took us on a space trip this year with their newest collection. The fashion show exhibited “a carpet of light flying among the planets of the solar system, while the little models carried small planets in their hands”. For the girl’s collection which included a mostly dark color palette, metallics were a huge highlight. This season is most definitely a time to shine! Tons of tulle was also included, giving the collection a more romantic feel. For the boys, bold shades of red, green, and blue were used throughout the collection. Plaid, stipes, prints, and denim infiltrated the collection and gave it a dapper meets cool kid vibe!
When it comes to being comfortable, this brand encompasses it. The collection is full of lightweight fabrics and loose-fitting clothes, making it easy to either dress up or dress down your child.
