“Wow” is simply all the words needed to explain this past weekend’s Top Model of the Year event held at the Westin’s Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta! Judges from America’s Next Top Model, famous designers & photographers, one of the youngest self-made millionaires Isabella Barrett, and season five’s Top Supermodel of the Year Valentina Ortiz were all present. As if it couldn’t get any cooler, there were one hundred plus fabulous child models from thirty seven states and three countries all ready to strut their stuff.
History was made this season when this year’s Top Supermodel Conner Sipos became the first to win not only Top Boy Model but also the overall competition. A big congratulations to Conner on being the first ever male to take home the title! So many great things happened at this event that the news doesn’t just stop there. Two more of Child Model’s finest, Lakyn Campbell and Ariana Victoria L. were surprised during registration and told that they were selected for a walk on role on the next episode of Six In the City, plus all-expense paid photoshoots were awarded! Also, Child Models Madison Thomas, Laura Grace Broocks, Angelina Gozzi, Sophie Harris, Conner Sipos, and Paola Cancel all received MMG New York model call backs! Watching each of their faces light up with excitement when they were given the news was priceless. After the main event, there was Red Carpet --everyone looked completely stunning--followed by a show stopping after party! Whether you are an aspiring singer, actress, model, or Olympic hopeful, Child Model Magazine makes dreams come true!
