In their 2015 Winter's collection, Baby Dior sought references in the Bolshoi Theatre ballet to present us with romantic and modern looks. Dior presents us with classic, timeless, and luxurious pieces rather than styles that continuously come in and out of style. The official website for Dior states “Dior little girls can enjoy a sophisticated wardrobe with Couture touches. As for boys, the fitted outfits are cleverly inspired by menswear.”
Set in a ballet's academy, the softness and delicacy of tiny ballerinas mixes with tutus, ballet shoes and embroidery. Flower crowns and ribbons introduce the colors of the collection, which reminds us of the Russian matrioskas. Starring alongside them, the boy appears as a pianist, sometimes classic, sometimes modern.
This collection includes single color dresses and romantic print, which are always super feminine and with a slightly full skirt for girls. Tricot jackets embroidered by hand, blouses with lace and sparkling shoes which appear to have been made for a ballet class.
For the boys this collection has plain shirts for a more formal event and with geometric themes for casual days. Knitting t-shirts and cardigans are the best choice when it's about to face the cold. The collection's must-have for them is the tailoring trousers that can be a super luxurious piece if combined with classic clothes.
